Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Sajilo restaurant workspace handles information used to operate the restaurant.
Information stored
- Staff name, username, role, account status, joining date, salary, and staff payment records.
- Tables, menu items, orders, item quantities, service status, bills, taxes, and payment methods.
- Your user ID, accepted policy version, consent date, and whether consent came from the website or Android app.
- Secure session tokens used to keep you signed in. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than readable passwords.
How information is used
Information is used for authentication, restaurant service, kitchen and waiter coordination, billing, reports, payroll records, security, and syncing changes between authorised devices.
Where information is stored
The main database is Cloudflare D1. The Android app can also keep an offline copy and a queue of unsynced changes in local SQLite storage on the device.
Cookies and sign-in
Sajilo uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep an account signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out removes the current session. A manager can suspend an account or close staff access.
Access and retention
Access depends on staff role. Managers can view and manage restaurant and staff records. Records are retained for restaurant operations until the restaurant manager or owner removes them, subject to operational needs.
Your choices
Ask the restaurant manager or owner to review, correct, or remove your staff information, or to answer a privacy question. You can decline consent, but Sajilo will not sign you in because the workspace needs these records to operate.
Policy updates
If this policy changes materially, the sign-in screen will request consent to the new version.
